In the work that I do presently, I visit a variety of schools and see a wide range of student artwork.   Creative projects are key when planning for lessons especially if you are one of a long line of teachers students have seen in the last few weeks, sometimes months.  It is so important for students to achieve a sense of accomplishment during the lesson.  This means that the work I set, often on the spot, has to relate to their abilities, interests and prior knowledge related to artists, crafters and designer.

 

If I have an opportunity to plan life is somewhat easier but can be complicated especially if you are asked to take over the project mid way through.
